Meet the women behind Quintessence....


Carolyn Ammer (on the right) spent the bulk of her career managing the company owned stores of a major paper company and her love of the business is evident. She brings an urban sensibility to the suburbs paired with years of knowledge and experience, and has a true interest in making people happy and having fun.

Pattie Vanasco (on the left) has lived all over the world but chose the north shore of Chicago to settle with her husband and raise their family. She has managed retail stores, visual departments, buying departments and the PTA. She is a woman of extraordinary talent with a highly developed sense of design, color and balance.

We invite you to drop by anytime you’re in the neighborhood! You might find Pattie’s daughters “helping” at the cash register. Or perhaps Carolyn’s sons might be doing some of the heavy lifting for us. We’re doing our part to raise hard working, productive kids and appreciate more than we can say, the family effort that is needed to make Quintessence a success.
